What are your favourite things about spring?
I love seeing the daffodils popping their little heads up all over the place...
...and the cute baby animals
I love the pretty pastel colours...
...and being able to wear pretty dresses without freezing :)

Spring... hmmm, let me think? Well, it's close to my birthday, so that's always good (I think?), but mainly it is the brighter evenings, the palettes of colours bursting to life, and that sense of 'waking up' almost, and knowing summer is on its way.
ReplyDeletePlus, when I am able, training in my garage without freezing my bits off - but presently the place is jammed with all kinds of 'stuff'. I don't know? Anyone would think a garage was for storage!
Nikki, regarding you reading my stories. If you do and are kind enough to comment, could you please be so kind as to comment under the chapters you are referring to please? It would make me such a happy man :)
Regards
Mark
PS: did you Photoshop those fun fair pictures to make them more pastel looking?
Of course I will :) Since I am home, I don't have such a lot of time, but I will do it soon!
DeleteI just found these pictures, the fun fair one is by this lovely photographer, her link is the third one I've posted underneath (I think :)
I love all the colours :) When is your birthday? Mine is in May, it's my favourite month because it's the warmer side of spring :)
April is my month, but nowadays I tend to turn a blind eye to it (or is that just a sign of failing eyesight?).
DeleteDoesn't seem so important for me as I get older, and I'm very much a 'fuss less' kind of person when it comes to my birthday.
What do they say about May's child? Being senile is such a terrible thing!
My wife spends the whole winter freezing.
ReplyDeleteOh I too adore that beautiful little bunny! I am always so excited to find and follow new special places. I have no doubt I will enjoy engaging and supporting this wonderful space you have created. Thank you for sharing, I am so glad to meet you. I hope you will find some time to come visit me soon. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment. I'm coming to visit you right now :) I hope you enjoy my little space :) xo
DeleteI really like the weather in the Spring, but my allergies act up like crazy so I kind of have mixed feelings about this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThat's sad to hear :( Google ''cute baby farm animals and bunnies" or maybe that only helps girls...
DeleteAww, that bunny is so cute! I like spring because it means the end of the school year isn't too far away! Then I get to spend the whole summer writing (I'm a teacher) and taking care of my kids. :D
ReplyDeleteI love the sunshine an the energy that it brings to my frozen blood!
ReplyDeleteGreat to meet you - I look forward to read your posts too!
Spring means garden to me.
ReplyDeleteAlso some guilt because I look at the veggie patch and realise that if those first earlies don't go in soon, they'll be maincrops.
Mainly though, it's the change of colour that does it for me. All that vibrant yellow from the daffs and our tree peony turning overnight to blue when the bluebells and lilac start emerging.
I love the cute animals and the carnival in pastels, that's so precious!!!!
ReplyDeleteSpring is a fresh new start to whatever it is you've let go over winter. It just reminds me there is more to life than feeling down in the dumps.
I actually can't stand spring thanks to my allergies. :\
ReplyDeleteI just want to eat that little bunny up! What wonderful images of spring! xoxo A-
ReplyDeleteOMG, I love that cute bunny! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd I definitely agree, I love wearing dresses when I'm not gonna freeze! But I don't like it if it's windy... that's just embarrassing! :P
So amazing, tender cute, sweet, fashionable post,
ReplyDeletei do love it::)
cheers nikki!
